4Excessive delivery charges by this seller/manufacturer  Feb 07, 2008 By Trend "jewelry nut"
I gave the product four stars because these do work to help get rid of pain. Not only in the foot, but the knees and ankles as well. I felt some relief almost immediately. Arch supporters are probably a good ideal for most people who stand and walk alot. If you've never worn arch supporters, it may take some getting adjusted to. These particular insoles are firmer than most, but do a good job.

These items don't weigh much. Heck, they're light. In a single shipment, I ordered 2 pairs and paid almost 12.00 in delivery charges. I think that is blatantly greedy. I have paid less than 12.00 for heavy books. This company can be as greedy as it wants, but they will never get another dime of my money. After I placed my order, the more I thought about it, the less I appreciated it. This seller is actually the manufacturer. I like the product but, will not purchase from them again, period. I shop with Peora, another seller based in California. They ship free of charge. I don't mind paying for delivery, but I don't expect to get ripped off either.

1Every Claim By Walk Fit Is Fraudulent  Nov 01, 2005 By A. Gaisser
Ordered WalkFit inserts for myself and my fiancee. Followed their instructions for about 10 days (3 days past their "break in" period). I couldn't wait to get them out of my shoes by the end of the day. Foot adjusted somewhat, but not that much. Same with my fiancee. Decided to return them.

Sent them back via UPS with deliver confirmation and signature. Walk Fit received them back in mid-September, 2005. No refund given as of yet. No returned emails or phone calls to customer service.

Bottom line: WalkFit doesn't live up to ANY of their statements, including their refund policy.

I should have known better at the time to buy something off of the TV, but I learned my lesson again.

1A lot of agravation  Sep 16, 2005 By Thoreau Russ
Having had problems with my arches, I decide, after seeing many commercials, to order the orthotics. I placed the order by dredit card, they said there was A MONEYBACK POLICY. After waiting a few weeks for them to arrive( because I wouldnt pay extra for quick shipping)they finally came. I tried them for almost a week. my legs were hurting more than usual and so was my back. I decided to return them. Of course , if you return them you have to pay for return postage , by certified mail. I waited a number of weeks and when I checked my credit card charges , I noticed that they hadnt given me credit on my card. I called their laughable customer service number, i dont know how many times. The phione would ring a number of times then a message would give me another number and a message would say that the person who handles returns had a full mailbox and couldnt take any message.I called again, got a person who said they would transfer me to someone who could help. After that , I would hear a hang up.Frustrating to say the least. I had proof from the post office that someone had signed for the return, weeks before. Finally after utter frustration, I called my charge card company. They somehow got through and I got my credit. All in all , I paid for shipping both ways and in the end lost about half the money I paid for them. unless you want a lot of agravation, I would stay away from this place.

5Very good product, if you use it correctly!  Dec 03, 2005 By Benek
Many people have problems with these orthotics being uncomfortable, however, it's all in how you use them. I got these as recommended from my chiropractor and he told me the secret.

The key is to use them in a shoe with completely flat coushioning, or remove the layer of coushioning and replace it with the Walk-fit. The orthotic is designed to provide just the right amount of support by itself. When added on top of other coushioning it can be too much for your foot.

I had this problem at first using them in my running shoes and they made my arches sore. Then, I tried them in some Hushpuppies I have with very flat soles and basically no built-in arch support, and they were immediately comfortable with no break-in required. Now I can't live without them.

Find a shoe with flat coushioning (I've heard old converse all-starts are great), or remove your shoe's coushion, and you'll love this product. Another thing to check is make sure you get the right size. The orthotic should go from the back of your heel to just under the bottom edge of the ball of your foot. I found that I needed the size 9 to 9.5, when I generally wear larger shoes than that. So these may run a bit small. Also try the different thicknesses of coushions provided with your Walk-fit orthotics to get the right fit for you.

5Walk FIt Inserts  Jun 24, 2006 By Jeffrey L. Abbott "JnM Abbott"
I like Walk-Fit and have been wearing them for about a month. I was diagnosed with Adult onset Scoliosis, my insoles have also dropped and my feet began to flop. These inserts helped me to lift my torso, squaring my shoulders, as well as support the arches of my feet with no pain or effort. I wear them all the time now and if I don't my arches ache, the good news is that my posture is better, my lower back doesn't hurt, and I am walking straighter. You must take out any other insert in your shoe including the manufactures insert when using these otherwise they will just hurt you. If not fitted properly, they will hurt you; make sure your shoe size is correct. For me these inserts have been worth it.
