Works just as good for a whole lot less Mar 02, 2010 I spent $150 on custom made orthotics from the chiropractor in July. In November, they came apart. I had grown accustomed to having the arch support and my knees sounded off with a cricklety-crack and then became sore on the inside edge for two weeks. I simply had to find something else, but I sure couldn't afford another $150 to only last another 3 months. These had decent reviews and came with the three sets of arches in case I didn't rate my arch correctly. After being off of the original orthotics for 3 1/2 months, it felt once more like I was walking on golf balls. I went down one arch level to medium and kept wearing them. The pain went away for me after three days. Feeling like one is walking on golf balls is true for any orthotic, so it is important you give any orthotic a well-deserved amount of time to get your feet acclimated. The chiropractor told me it could be 24 hrs to a month before my feet would quit complaining about the lump under the arch. Be patient! These are a great buy and so far are helping me every bit as good as the $150 models. I'd buy them again. It's worth it to have good support. I might buy more so I don't have to switch them out from shoe to shoe. That's the beauty of it when they don't cost a small fortune. I certainly don't see these wearing out any time soon, either. Good product!

Had these before and wore them out so these are replacements Feb 04, 2010 I like these and they work for me. You have to make sure your sock doesn't ball up as you put your shoe on (especially with boots) and they can initially feel like you have a big rock in your shoe but you have to use them a bit and you forget they are there. The advantage for me is that I have flat feet and sometimes I can roll my ankle to the inside. Because of the way these fit they pretty much prevent this from happening when I'm hiking downhill over steep terrain. I use them in normal work shoes too and they seem to help my feet and add support. I would buy them again. The first pair cracked in the heel area after a lot of use.
They are stupid! Jan 31, 2010 They hurt the minute I put them on and it only got worse. What a rip. A lot of hype for nothin.
Walkfit ripoff Jan 29, 2010 I wouldn't waste your money. I used them for over a month and had absoultely no change. Not only that but the company is underhanded. When they charge you almost as much for shipping as they do for the product something is wrong. I paid 34.90 for the inserts (one for my wife and one for me) and they charged me 24.85 for the shipping and I just used regular shipping, nothing like overnight or 2 day. Ridicules considering it only cost 5.00 dollars to ship.
Best thing since sliced bread Dec 14, 2009 My husband has plantar faciatis (not sure if I spelled that correctly). His doctor told him he needed to have orthotics made for him to relieve his constant pain in his feet. Well, to have special orthotics made would have cost us $300. We saw an informercial about 10 years ago and decided to try them. He swears by these and wears through about 1 pair a year. He uses them ALL the time, in every shoe.
